Tell me again why Obamacare is such a good idea?

Borrowed from an Australian friend's FB post:

"a good two years ago Emma had a lump on her eyelid, took her to the drs and got a referral to a specialist - tonight when I got home I finally have a letter from the hospital asking if we still needed an appointment. Public Health system working well. Its been so long Emma's eye has healed on its own."

Yeah, that's what I thought...
